Acts/Bands I Play With

CoResonance featuring Latonya Peoples, Nirvana Kelly, Tara Harris and Okorie Johnson

CORESONANCE – A string quartet for hire that plays it all. As comfortable with Bach as we are with Beyonce, there is no genre or venue where we won’t blend in seamlessly — or as we like to say, resonantly.  With a pop repertoire that includes Imagine Dragons and Rihanna, jazz ballads from Duke to Ella, and a classical cannon ranging from Pachabell to Tchaikovsky, CoResonance will make your wedding, valentine’s dinner, office party or CD release a memorable and exceptional event.  Even more, you’ve never heard strings like this before, and once you do, you’ll never want to hear them any other way.

Callaghan’s Life in Full Colour CD Cover

CALLAGHAN – Born to a musical family, Callaghan was classically trained on flute from age 6, then gravitated toward singing and playing piano. By 14 she was writing songs, and started trekking to London to record with various producers. At 18 Callaghan relocated to London, while recording a number of independent EPs and playing all over the city, at spots like the Bedford, Regal Room, Royal National Theatre, and 100 Club. A long-time Shawn Mullins fan, Callaghan contacted him to produce an album prompting her to relocate in 2010.  Since landing stateside Callaghan has toured extensively throughout the U.S.

Doria is also co-owner of Urban Cannibals in East Atlanta

DORIA ROBERTS – An Atlanta based singer/songwriter and spoken word artist, Doria Roberts has lived on the road since performing at the 1999 Lilith Fair, appearing in listening rooms, theaters and festivals across the US, France, Canada, Sweden and Australia.  Doria has shared the stage with Odetta, The Holmes Brothers, Janis Ian, Angelique Kidjo, John Mayer and Me’shell N’degeocello.

NUENSEMBLE – Three of Atlanta’s finest musicians, blending cello, guitar and voice in extraordinary and intimate music.  The New Trio composes and re-imagines music, crafting a powerfully expressive art of rare beauty and depth.  The voice of the New Trio is Cleveland Jones, a singer of extraordinary virtuosity and soul.  The rhythm section and counter melodies are shared by Okorie Johnson on cello and John Huston on guitar.  The innovative instrumentation, deftly arranged and performed, swings from aggressively digging to achingly delicate.
